Contractor Website Score

Denver and the Front Range

Denver homeowners are already suspicious of a thin contractor site.

Hail and freeze-thaw keep the phones busy from Denver to Aurora and Lakewood. They also train homeowners to doubt out-of-town crews. A thin template with no cities named looks like a storm chaser, even when you have worked the Front Range for years.

Score a Denver contractor site

Local has to be written down

If the homepage never says Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, or the other cities you cover, the page can belong to anyone who bought a lead list. Name the places. Leave off the places you do not drive to.

Photos do more work here than slogans

“Quality you can trust” is on every thin site. A roof, a panel, or a driveway you actually finished is not. This score cannot judge photo quality. It does notice when the page barely has words or still says “coming soon.”

The phone is the filter

People who have been burned by a no-show want a person. A tap-to-call number beats a form that says you will reply later. If you answer, make the number the first action.

Keep the year current

An old copyright year is a small tell, and on a market full of temporary storm companies it is the wrong tell. Update it. The score will stop flagging it.
